About the Programme

A Joint Dual Master's Degree Programme by the National and Kapodistrian
University of Athens and Yale University Addressing today's environmental
challenges. Advancing tomorrow's global health.

The Environmental Sciences and Global Public Health Joint Dual Master's
Degree Programme brings together the academic excellence of the National
and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and Yale University to
educate a new generation of leaders committed to improving human, animal,
and environmental health.

Grounded in the One Health approach, the programme combines environmental
sciences, epidemiology, analytical chemistry, exposomics, public health,
environmental law, sustainability, and data science into an
interdisciplinary learning experience that responds to the complex
challenges of the 21st century.

Students benefit from an international academic environment,
research-driven education, and close collaboration with distinguished
faculty, developing the scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and
practical skills needed to address issues such as climate change,
environmental pollution, emerging health threats, and sustainable
development.

Yale University

ESGPH was designed in collaboration with the Yale School of Public Health, one of the world's leading institutions in public health research and education. Yale faculty co-teach and co-design the curriculum.

NKUA

The programme is also implemented in collaboration with the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, contributing clinical and epidemiological expertise.

Quality Assurance

The programme operates under the Quality Assurance framework of the NKUA Dept. of Chemistry, following the internal regulations on transparency and accountability.
